Relapath is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for a direct-hire opportunity at a manufacturing site in Tecumseh, Michigan. The role leads plant operations, develops high-performing teams, and drives operational excellence, quality, productivity, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in managing operations in a manufacturing environment, including shipping and receiving, and leading production and engineering teams.
• Progression of responsibility in manufacturing supervisory roles and proven leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing manufacturing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and understanding plant-level P&L.
• Experience overseeing production operations and coordinating multiple departments.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience driving continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and SPC in manufacturing.
• Experience with capital planning, investment evaluation, and IRR analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

• Direct, manage, and coordinate plant operations to achieve production, quality, safety, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Provide leadership across departments including Production, Engineering, and Shipping & Receiving.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and employees, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor production goals, schedules, and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and ERP/MRP utilization to optimize throughput.
• Coordinate new product introductions and transitions into production with engineering and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and maintain customer satisfaction.
