Responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day facility management.
• Direct plant financial activities, manage costs, and report budgets to senior leadership.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen culture and ISO quality readiness.
• Develop and enforce workplace safety procedures and PPE compliance.
• Track KPIs such as scrap, on-time delivery, quality, and productivity.
• Lead with respect and share best practices across locations.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day facility and equipment management, partnering with the production supervisor and Human Resources on workforce needs, hiring, retention, and disciplinary matters
• Direct plant financial activities, control costs, and prepare expense and budget reporting for senior leadership, consulting on major equipment needs and significant purchases
• Champion a Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen-driven culture of continuous improvement and quality, maintaining a quality system that supports ISO compliance
• Develop and enforce workplace safety procedures and PPE compliance, serving as first point of response for workplace injuries or illnesses
• Track key performance metrics, including scrap and rework costs, on-time delivery, customer quality and satisfaction, and productivity
• Lead with respect and emotional maturity, building a culture grounded in the organization's mission and values, and share best practices across company locations
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience in manufacturing management or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Background in Lean Manufacturing
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• Proficient at running and directing Kaizen events
• Able to create Value Stream Mapping
