Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the Worcester manufacturing site. You will direct production, quality, safety, workforce planning and maintenance to meet financial and quality goals.

You will report to the Sr Director of Manufacturing and drive continuous improvement across functions. The role requires a engineering degree and 5–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership, with Lean Six Sigma and budgeting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive manufacturing/leadership experience.
• Experience applying Lean, TOC, Six Sigma or other TQM in manufacturing.
• Understanding of ceramic manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage plant budgets and capital expenditures.
• Ability to drive financial and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing process within the Worcester site.
• Drive efficient, cost‑effective production of CoorsTek products.
• Coordinate multiple manufacturing functions and processes.
• Develop policies and objectives for production scheduling, quality and cost.
• Institute quality programs to meet or exceed standards.
• Collaborate with other plants and regions on a global scale.
• Reduce cost of goods sold and improve capital efficiency.
• Ensure safety culture and EH&S compliance.
• Support strategic planning and monthly forecasts.
