Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience.
Thorough knowledge of statistical techniques and SPC.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques.
Minitab/JMP experience.

Responsibilities

Perform professional quality engineering assignments of considerable complexity, including capability studies and DOE analyses.
Design, install, and continually evaluate quality assurance methods and measurement systems.
Develop standards, procedures, and work instructions to guide quality activities and training.
Identify, define, and recommend issues for quality control and process improvement.
Interpret technical data using mathematical or diagrammatic methods and conduct audits.
Plan gauge R&R and product/process capability studies; support supplier and internal audits.
Coordinate with engineering and CMM programmers to ensure measurement system effectiveness.
Analyze reports on nonconforming products and drive corrective actions.
