Job summary

Compass Minerals Lyons plant is seeking a Plant Manager to drive operational excellence across the salt plant. You will lead all plant staff to meet safety, production, quality, and cost targets while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires a engineering degree and 10+ years in operations management in chemicals or minerals, with strong leadership, budgeting, and KPI experience. Location: Lyons, Kansas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Operations Management in chemicals/mineral processing industries; multiple plant locations preferred.
• Chemical Engineering background preferred with understanding of inorganic processes and crystallization.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant staff to achieve safety, productivity and quality targets.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, cost, reliability, and product availability.
• Plan and approve budgets and capital programs; monitor KPIs and performance.
