Job summary

Central Wire, Inc. in Perris, California, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead production and maintenance for the Perris facility.

You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while translating business goals into disciplined daily execution. The role requires a track record of managing a high-technology metal-manufacturing operation, implementing Lean Six Sigma, and partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field or equivalent leadership experience.
Minimum of ten years of manufacturing experience, including at least five years leading managers and staff.
Demonstrated accountability for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
Experience in metals, wire, bar, coil, or similar manufacturing with strong process controls.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for Perris plant production and maintenance, enforcing safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Develop and execute production plans aligning labor, materials, equipment, and capacity with customer requirements.
Monitor performance using daily management and KPIs (safety, on-time delivery, yield, scrap, quality).
Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives with data-driven problem solving and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other quality standards; prepare for internal and external audits.
