Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination.
• Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience, including at least five years leading managers and production or maintenance personnel.
• Accountability for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, labor utilization, and costs.
• Experience in metals/wire/bar/coil or similar process-oriented manufacturing with rigorous controls.
• Use of production data and KPIs to identify gaps, set priorities, and sustain gains.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, root-cause analysis, standard work, process capability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to exercise independent managerial judgment and lead organizational change.
• Willingness to work in an active manufacturing environment and be available outside regular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Perris plant production and maintenance, with safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, attendance, and continuous improvement goals.
• Direct, coach, and develop production and maintenance leaders and employees; establish accountability and succession planning.
• Develop and execute production plans for wire coil and bar stock aligning labor, materials, equipment, and capacity with customer requirements.
• Monitor plant performance through daily management systems and KPIs (safety, on-time delivery, throughput, yield, scrap, downtime, quality, inventory, budget).
• Maintain a safe work environment; lead safety programs, incidents, corrective actions, and risk reduction.
• Ensure products and processes conform to customer specs and quality-system requirements; support high-reliability applications.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives with data, baselines, measurable outcomes, and sustaining gains.
• Own plant operating budgets; analyze labor, overtime, materials, yield, scrap, and maintenance expenses.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR to resolve constraints and support new-product introduction.
• Develop workforce planning, staffing, training, cross-training, qualification, and skills development across shifts.
