Job summary

IP Corporation is hiring a Plant Manager, HK Research in Hickory, NC to lead all aspects of site operations onsite, including safety, production, quality, maintenance, and cost performance.

The role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure efficient, compliant plant operations and drives continuous improvement through Lean/Six Sigma and teamwork with Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, operations or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably chemical/industrial.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and improving plant performance.
• Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations: safety, quality, production and cost objectives.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals.
• Drive safety culture and regulatory/compliance adherence.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams: Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to boost performance.
• Oversee production planning and execution to meet demand and service goals.
• Manage budgets, CAPEX, and cost control initiatives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial teams to support growth.
