Job summary

OBE is seeking a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations, safety, quality and OpEx across the site, driving automation transformation and MES/ERP integration to elevate OEE. The role requires a collaborative, results-driven leader who can convert ambiguity into clear plans and empower teams.

You will develop and mentor managers, manage capital projects, and partner with engineering and IT to modernize production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on management experience with budgeting, quality assurance, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing TPS-based operations; Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus.
• Proven track record leading plant optimization & automation/digital transformation projects.

• Develop the team to maintain and enhance a competitive edge and service to the customer.
• Leads and mentors managers and supervisors in the development of a Winning Culture.
• Develop and improve the skills, knowledge and abilities of the managers and supervisors to ensure strong succession planning.
• Leads the Plant Operations, Drives Safety Awareness, OpEx, Production, and Efficiency.
• Attain business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards that exceed customer expectations.
• Create, recommend, and manage capital projects.
• Lead plant optimization & automation transformation initiatives, championing new technology and MES/ERP integration.
• Drive continuous improvement projects that reduce downtime and increase OEE.
• Partner with engineering & IT to integrate MES/ERP systems, data analytics & real-time reporting.
• Champion a culture of innovation through technology-driven change management.
