Job summary
Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in the United States seeks a Plant Manager to drive manufacturing, safety, quality, and operational excellence across the plant. You will lead automation transformation, modernize production systems, and elevate OEE while guiding a team of managers and supervisors toward a Winning Culture.
This role requires a proven track record in plant optimization, robotics, PLC/controls, MES/ERP integration, and capital project leadership.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of managerial experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience budgeting, quality assurance, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experience.
- Lean belt certification (Green/Black) a plus.
- Proven track record in plant optimization and automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop the team to maintain competitive edge and service to the customer.
- Lead managers and supervisors to develop a Winning Culture.
- Drive succession planning through skill development of managers/supervisors.
- Lead Plant Operations, Drive Safety, OpEx, Production and Efficiency.
- Ensure production schedules meet objectives and exceed product standards.
- Create, recommend, and manage capital projects.
- Lead plant optimization and automation initiatives, championing new tech and MES/ERP integration.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and increase OEE.
- Partner with engineering & IT to integrate MES/ERP, data analytics, and real-time reporting.
- Champion culture of innovation and tech-driven change management.
