Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop is seeking a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing, safety and quality, driving operational excellence and an automation transformation to elevate OEE.

The role requires strong leadership to empower teams, optimize processes, and deliver sustained performance improvements across the site.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years managerial experience in manufacturing.
  • Hands-on budgeting, quality assurance, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or equivalent.
  • TPS/Lean experience; Green Belt or Black Belt a plus.
  • Proven record leading plant optimization and automation projects.
  • Experience with capital projects for automation upgrades.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven decision making; familiarity with OEE and KPI dashboards.

  • Lead plant optimization and automation initiatives; adopt new tech.
  • Drive continuous improvement reducing downtime and increasing OEE.
  • Partner with engineering and IT to integrate MES/ERP, analytics, and real-time reporting.
  • Champion a culture of innovation through technology-driven change.

What You’ll Get to Do

The Plant Manager is focused on the operational aspects of the plant which include manufacturing, safety, quality, operational excellence, equipment and reports to the Regional Ops Director. In this role, the Plant Manager will lead plant optimization initiatives & spearhead the site’s automation transformation, modernizing production systems, integrating new technology & elevating Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across the operation. This role is perfect for a collaborative, results-oriented leader who can bring clarity to ambiguity, empower teams, and lead transformative change.   • Create, recommend, and manage capital projects
  • Lead plant optimization & automation transformation initiatives, championing new technology, robotics & control systems to modernize operations
  • Drive continuous improvement projects that reduce downtime, improve throughput & increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Partner with engineering & IT to integrate MES/ERP systems, data analytics & real-time reporting into daily plant decision-making
  • Champion a culture of innovation, guiding teams through technology-driven change management as the plant modernizes
What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on management experience with budgeting, quality assurance, and troubleshooting equipment
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing a TPS based operation preferred Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus
  • Proven track record leading plant optimization & automation/digital transformation projects, including robotics, PLC/controls & MES/ERP integration
  • Experience managing capital projects for automation & equipment upgrades from business case through implementation
  • Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making skills; familiarity with OEE, KPI dashboards & performance analytics
