Job summary

Latitude Inc is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations with a strong emphasis on process engineering and automation/robotics. The role focuses on operational excellence, safety, quality, and productivity through Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced automation initiatives to optimize plant performance.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring production continuity and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across engineering, manufacturing, and support functions
• Drive process optimization initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Design, implement, and maintain automated and robotic systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with process engineering teams to improve workflows, cycle times, and throughput
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
• Develop and manage plant budgets, capital expenditures, and cost control initiatives
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics; implement corrective actions as needed
• Partner with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure material availability and production continuity
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for production issues
• Support new product introductions and scaling of manufacturing processes
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
