Our client is a global Aerospace components manufacturer.

About the role:

Reporting to the V.P./GM, the Plant Manager will be accountable for all aspects of plant performance and will ensure that objectives are attained in a cost-effective and measurable manner that’s consistent with safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforces all safety policies and procedures with team members. Drive a safety conscience culture.
• Coordinate and manage a full complement of production and production support activities.
• Manage and work with key staff positions: Materials Management, Quality, Metallurgy, etc.
• Full P&L, balance sheet responsibility for Worcester Operations.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement in the attainment of corporate goals.
• Responsible for cost control and budget attainment.
• Establish effective relationships with Union leadership.
• Establish and execute capital planning efforts supporting manufacturing

Background:

• MBA, with B.S. / B.A. (engineering discipline preferred) and/or extensive related work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience, preferably with capital intense metal forming/manufacturing operations.
• At least 5 years at managerial responsibility with P/L responsibility
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple manufacturing disciplines (Operations, Maintenance, Quality, etc.)
