Job summary

Omnimax-Internationa is seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Grand Prairie, Texas. You will foster a safe, productive, and high-performing environment while driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people goals.

Provide hands-on leadership, develop teams, monitor KPIs, and pursue continuous improvement. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, supply chain and HR to resolve issues and sustain performance.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong business acumen including KPIs and P&L awareness.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, production, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Review production schedules, capacity needs, and customer requirements to effectively plan plant operations.
  • Monitor KPIs, operating reports, scrap, and productivity to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, cost, and overall plant performance.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and performance management.

Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to provide leadership and direction for our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for creating a safe, productive, and high-performing work environment while ensuring operational goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people are achieved.

The Plant Manager will provide hands-on leadership to the operation, develop and hold teams accountable for performance, and use business metrics and continuous improvement practices to identify opportunities and drive sustainable results.

What You’ll Do

As Plant Manager, you will:

  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure company safety programs and expectations are consistently implemented.
  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, production, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for leaders and employees.
  • Review production schedules, customer requirements, product specifications, and capacity needs to effectively plan plant operations.
  • Establish production priorities and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet operational and customer requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operating reports, scrap, productivity, and other business metrics to identify opportunities and resolve performance issues.
  • Partner with maintenance, quality, supply chain, HR, and other functions to address operational challenges and support plant performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality, cost, and overall plant performance.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, performance management, and employee development.
  • Participate in hiring, employee relations, corrective action, performance management, and other people-related decisions.
  • Address employee concerns and elevate matters appropriately when additional support is needed.
  • Communicate plant and company goals effectively and create alignment throughout the organization.
  • Exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions to resolve operational and business challenges.
What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 3–5 years of recent supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing teams and operations.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience with P&L responsibility, KPIs, and business performance metrics.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build teams, establish expectations, and drive accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization.
  • Working knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work with and interpret operational and mathematical data.
  • Experience with plastics and/or roll-forming manufacturing is a plus.
  • ERP and/or ERP implementation experience is a plus.
