Job summary

Experts Group International seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our plastics manufacturing facility. You will own full P&L responsibility for the site, drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance while building a strong, engaged workforce.

This hands-on leadership role requires turning operational challenges into measurable results, managing production across injection molding, extrusion, vacuum forming, and stamping, and partnering with quality,

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in plastics manufacturing (injection molding, extrusion, vacuum forming, or stamping)
  • Proven track record of full P&L ownership and driving profitability improvements
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, JIT, and process improvement (Six Sigma certification a plus)
  • Experience managing multi-shift operations and cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on ERP/MRP system experience (SAP preferred)
  • Automotive or Tier 1/Tier 2 supplier experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people-leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)

Responsibilities

  • Own full P&L and operational performance for the facility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Lead daily production operations across injection molding, extrusion, vacuum forming, and/or stamping processes
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, downtime, and cost
  • Develop and execute production schedules, staffing plans, and capacity strategies to meet customer demand
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team, including supervisors, engineers, and production staff
  • Partner with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent, on-spec output
  • Manage supplier relationships and support new program launches from concept through production
  • Implement and maintain ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience a plus) to support accurate reporting and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies; foster a strong safety culture
  • Report performance metrics (OEE, scrap rates, inventory accuracy, labor cost) to senior leadership
