The Plant Manager is accountable for leading daily operations in Altium’s manufacturing facility. This role involves developing, communicating, and deploying effective plant manufacturing strategies and processes to achieve safety, financial, production, and employment goals. The manager provides leadership to multiple plant leaders, ensuring profit and loss objectives are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion a safety culture, ensure a safe work environment, and cultivate safe behavior.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Lean Practices, advocating for efficient operations and monitoring performance.
  • Create value by executing production schedules to meet company and customer requirements.
  • Manage performance via proactive coaching and direction for efficient plant operations.
  • Maintain procedures for accurate inventory of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Foster a culture reflecting Altium’s Guiding Principles to attract and retain qualified talent, maintaining an inclusive environment and high employee engagement.
  • Champion integrity and compliance, focusing on value creation with customers and stakeholders, leading problem-solving and process improvements.
  • Ensure successful new product launches through clear specification development, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Audit the facility for GMP compliance and maintain adherence to quality standards.
  • Guide timely repairs and predictive/preventive maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Develop and enhance the skills of staff and hourly personnel through onboarding, training, and development.
  • Drive project execution to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years manufacturing experience with progressive leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams and motivating in changing environments.
  • Previous P&L experience.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and tracking metrics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-shift environment.
Compensation:

Targeted Pay Range: $133,100.00 - $166,400.00
