WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  1. Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making, and recognizing them for exceptional work.

  2. Provide direction to operations to meet manufacturing schedules and production plans.

  3. Develop, monitor, and maintain adherence to established budgets, both expense and capital.

  4. Recommend and implement changes regarding production capability, tooling, machine replacement, and staffing to support production plans and improve manufacturing productivity.

  5. Implement Smart Factory/Digital Manufacturing.

  6. Coordinate activities responding to customer and market needs through contact with marketing and sales departments and district sales offices.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Production: Approve resources necessary for manufacturing to meet quality, cost, and schedule standards, applying Lean Manufacturing principles and Smart Factory processes.
  • Maintenance: Approve the adoption of new technology for manufacturing and oversee maintenance of buildings, machinery, and equipment.
  • Quality: Ensure development and implementation of quality control programs (ISO), focusing on customer requirements.
  • Materials: Support strategies to optimize MRO, MRP, planning, materials, and logistics in coordination with sales and distribution.
  • Finance: Make decisions based on operational and financial statements, considering tax planning, costs, cash flow, and budgets, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
  • Customer Service/Programs: Strategize manufacturing capacities to meet customer requests and improve customer service metrics.
  • Human Resources: Manage programs related to labor relations, recruitment, training, personnel administration, benefits, safety, medical, and environmental compliance.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Lead operational improvements, cost reductions, and capacity increases, emphasizing end-to-end process thinking.
Qualifications:
  • BA or BS in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years experience in a production environment.
  • Lean Methodologies expertise and certification.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface across all levels.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities.
  • Effective relationship-building skills.
  • Approximately 10% domestic travel, potential for international travel.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $148,300 - $275,300, based on experience and location. Additional benefits include health plans, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, leave policies, well-being programs, and legal protections. We are committed to equal employment opportunity.
