Job summary

The Newell Group is assisting a client in the Northampton/Lehigh County area of PA to recruit a Plant Manager for a 100k+ SF facility. The successful candidate will lead a 40+ person team, drive production efficiency, waste reduction, and safety culture, leveraging Lean and CI programs and a strong financial acumen.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, capex, and KPI-driven improvement, with a proactive approach to talent development and strong communication across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• 5+ years' strong progressive management experience in PET injection/blow molding manufacturing.
• Proactive process optimization mindset.
• Financial and Material Acumen.
• Track record in building and recruiting and developing talent.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Successful record of implementing Lean Manufacturing/CI programs.
• Mastery of KPI's and ability to use data to drive improvement.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, capex, financial management.
