Job summary

HotRun Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations at an injection molding facility east of Philadelphia. This role is part of a succession plan to advance to Plant Manager within four years, exposing you to all facets of running the operation while directing daily production.

The successful candidate will develop people, drive Lean initiatives, and collaborate with schedules, engineering, quality, maintenance and customer service to meet tight performance goals.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience in an injection molding environment.
• Solid understanding of injection molding processes, tooling and operations.
• Experience leading supervisors and production teams.
• Background implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to develop people while driving operational performance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity objectives.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation.
• Coach, mentor and develop supervisors and production personnel.
• Optimize labor utilization, workflow and manufacturing efficiency.
• Partner with Scheduling, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Customer Service to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements.
• Monitor production metrics including efficiency, scrap, quality and labor performance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations at a growing injection molding facility east of Philadelphia.

This is much more than a traditional production management role. This hire is a succession plan to develop into the Plant Manager role in 4 years. The successful candidate will gain exposure to all aspects of running a manufacturing operation while leading daily production.

Compensation

• Base salary:$140,000-$170,000
