Job summary

The Newell Group is assisting a client in the Northampton/Lehigh County area of PA as they seek a Plant Manager. The successful candidate will lead a 40+ person team in a 100k+ SF facility, driving production efficiency and waste reduction while upholding a strong safety culture.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, with Lean/CI implementation experience and strong KPI/data skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in PET injection/blow molding manufacturing.
• Proactive process optimization mindset with data-driven improvements.

OR

5+ years' strong progressive management experience in PET injection/blow molding manufacturing

Proactive process optimization mindset

Financial and Material Acumen

Track record in building and recruiting and developing talent

Strong Communication Skills

Successful record of implementing Lean Manufacturing/CI programs

Mastery of KPI's and ability to use data to drive improvement

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, capex, financial management

This person will lead a growing team of 40+ employees in a 100k+SF facility and will be the main driver in optimizing production efficiency, waste reduction and maintaining a strong safety culture.
