Human Resources Administrator at Irving Materials, Inc.

This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the concrete facility and its staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all material inventories.
2. Maintain a positive attitude in servicing the local customer base.
3. Perform basic facility maintenance.
4. Provide leadership to drivers assigned to the location.
5. Monitor employee processes and behaviors to ensure safe practices are followed daily.
6. Inspect and correct unsafe conditions at the facility.
7. Implement preventative maintenance to promote safety.
8. Review safety concerns in pre and post trip inspection reports.
9. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and DOT regulations for fleet operations.
10. Communicate, improve, and adhere to safety policies in all work environments.
11. Communicate effectively to engage and motivate delivery and plant teams daily.
12. Process customer orders accurately and provide product advice.
13. Ensure proper batching and loading of ready-mix concrete.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years of operation-related experience and 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred.
2. High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
3. Good working knowledge of Command Series.
4. Strong communication skills and ability to support management through change.
5. Leadership skills to motivate and lead others.
6. Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
7. Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, are a plus.
