Human Resources Administrator at Irving Materials, Inc.
This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the concrete facility and its staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all material inventories.
- Maintain a positive attitude in servicing the local customer base.
- Perform basic facility maintenance.
- Provide leadership to drivers assigned to the location.
- Monitor employee processes and behaviors to ensure safe practices are followed daily.
- Inspect and correct unsafe conditions at the facility.
- Implement preventative maintenance to promote safety.
- Review safety concerns in pre and post trip inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and DOT regulations for fleet operations.
- Communicate, improve, and adhere to safety policies in all work environments.
- Communicate effectively to engage and motivate delivery and plant teams daily.
- Process customer orders accurately and provide product advice.
- Ensure proper batching and loading of ready-mix concrete.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of operation-related experience and 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Good working knowledge of Command Series.
- Strong communication skills and ability to support management through change.
- Leadership skills to motivate and lead others.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, are a plus.
