Location: Riverton, NJ - East - Filling industrial

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Plant Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in production and delivery of compressed gases, correcting unsafe acts or conditions, and assigning job tasks to workers according to customer needs, current stock levels and workers' expertise.

  • Operate and safely maintain the plant for repackaging of gases into cylinders while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and company policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
  • Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements. Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed and safety training is regularly scheduled, conducted and documented.
  • Ensure all injuries and accidents are properly investigated and reported within 24 hours.
  • Analyze and resolve work-related issues and personnel actions.
  • Manage and lead associates to provide leadership and coaching, and take corrective actions promptly.
  • Train new workers and cross-train associates to maintain production during personnel shortages.
  • Maintain time and production records and approve overtime when necessary, keeping overtime at acceptable levels.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Are you a MATCH?
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of industry experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Prior experience utilizing SAP or related systems preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of leveraging metrics to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with others in all situations, accepting cultural diversity and establishing effective working relationships.
  • Dedication to product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Must be able to observe and assess information received via computer.
  • Requires use of computer, telephone, and operation of a forklift.
  • Occasionally may need to move up to 60 pounds or more with material handling equipment.
  • Exposure to moving office/production machine parts is possible during duties.
