Job summary

Zobility is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead all manufacturing operations including production, maintenance, quality, engineering and operations. The role focuses on achieving KPI targets in safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity and OEE while driving continuous improvement across the facility.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in automotive, with hands-on plant operations in tooling, stamping, or welded assembly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in automotive settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Production Engineering; MBA preferred.
• Hands-on plant operations experience across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Quality.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity and OEE improvements.
• Oversee production planning, manpower allocation and efficiency.
• Lead new product launches and industrialization with Project Management teams.
• Develop and coach supervisors and build a safety-focused culture.

The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence by achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related toSafety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)while ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations, including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality.
• Drive performance inSafety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (SQDC), Productivity, OEE, and 5Sinitiatives.
• Ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead new product launches and industrialization activities alongside Project Management teams.
• Oversee production planning, manpower allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, PDCA, 8D, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, operational KPIs, and manufacturing costs.
• Develop and coach supervisors while building a strong safety-focused culture.
• Partner with customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in theautomotive industry.
• Strong experience managingplant operations, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience intooling, stamping, and/or welded assemblyenvironments.
• Proven background inLean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, OEE, 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, SPC, PDCA, and 8Dmethodologies.
• Experience managingSafety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (SQDC)metrics, budgets, and operational KPIs.
• Strong customer-facing experience with OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers preferred.
• Excellent leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree inIndustrial, Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
