Job summary

MPI is seeking a Food Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead a large-scale production and distribution network in the Los Angeles area. The role requires strong leadership across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse and Sanitation, with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of manufacturing leadership, 3+ years running a plant, and deep knowledge of GMP, HACCP and OSHA in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • 3+ years leading an entire plant, facility, or major production operation.
  • Experience in food manufacturing, protein processing, seafood, consumer packaged goods, or related industry.
  • Experience overseeing Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse operations.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

  • Provide overall leadership for day-to-day plant operations.
  • Direct Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse and Sanitation functions.

  • Develop supervisors and department leaders to strengthen operational execution.

  • Partner with senior leadership to support growth, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, urgency, safety and performance.
  • Manage operational budgets and plant resources effectively.

Food Manufacturing Plant Manager

Food manufacturing, protein processing, seafood, consumer packaged goods, or related industry experience is required. Experience overseeing multiple functional areas, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse operations is necessary. Proven success leading large hourly workforces and management teams is essential. A strong understanding of food safety, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations is required. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
