Job summary

United Concrete in Durham, CT, seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead our precast concrete manufacturing facility. You will own safety, production, quality, and profitability while guiding a team of 8–12 employees.

You will oversee daily operations, drive a zero-incident safety culture, manage the P&L and budget, ensure certifications, and coordinate with sales and engineering to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing management experience
• 3+ years in precast/prestressed concrete
• Proven P&L and budget responsibility
• Strong knowledge of concrete mix designs, formwork, reinforcing, and curing
• Track record of improving safety, quality, and on-time delivery
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Bonus points: PCI/NPCA certifications, Lean/Six Sigma, bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities
