Base pay range

$190,000.00/yr - $205,000.00/yr

Role:

oversees all daily operations of the sheet metal manufacturing facility, ensuring production efficiency, quality output, workforce management, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This leadership role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, meeting production goals, and maintaining a positive, high-performing work culture.

• Strategic management of the production, quality, shipping, receiving, inventory, and facility management functions in a metal fabrication and assembly environment.
• Coordination of product manufacturing with and Europe and US Production Managers.
• Implementation of lean manufacturing practices and efficiency measures.
• Development of manufacturing reporting and analyses systems.
• Resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and operational delays.
• Coordination and oversight with non-US facilities to develop operational and production processes to produce economies of scale.
• Implementation of productivity/quality metrics designed to minimize costs and enhance efficiency; develop and revise standard operational and working practices to maximize efficiency.
• OSHA compliance.
• Improvement of quality by researching best practices and identifying new/needed skills, processes, or methods.
• Regular adherence to performance of applicable procedures in the Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OHSAS); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable and effective in relation to position.
• Continuous assessment of opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systems.

• Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing; Master’s degree or MBA highly preferred.
• 10+ years in Management in Manufacturing environment; Sheet Metal Manufacturing Highly Preferred
• Familiar with international manufacturing standards; hands-on with metal fabrication equipment
• Hands on experience with CNC Machinery, welding and powder coating (Amada press brake, punch and laser machines required)
• ISO 9001; Process documentation and system audits
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP Preferred) and manufacturing software.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including OSHA and EPA standards.
• Strategic thinker, results-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
