Qualifications

We are currently assisting our client, a Fortune 500 global market leader, with a Plant Manager search located in Dayton, OH. This position will be responsible for leading product manufacturing operations to continue capacity growth, and meeting its commitments to customers, the company, and the employees. This highly visible assignment requires an accomplished manufacturing leader, who will have the tactical and strategic responsibility to direct the development and implementation of product line strategies to exceed operational productivity expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute plans to improve existing operations to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries
• Drive results for plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, cost, delivery, absenteeism, training, compliance, on-time program launch, communications, etc.
• Implement a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement to improve all areas of plant operations
• Own production operational P&L, budgets, forecasts, and development and implementation of strategy
• Responsible for customer metrics for represented products

Requirements:

• BA degree required – engineering degree preferred
• MBA, or other advanced degree highly desirable
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required; with at least 1-2 years in a plant manager role
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives is a plus

Total Compensation:

• $175,000 - $200,000
