What You’ll Do:

• Compare performance metrics to actual results and make necessary operational adjustments to optimize performance.
• Regularly update key stakeholders on the status of production metrics and any issues or improvements in your shop.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as units produced and payroll efficiency.
• Focus on overall plant efficiency to achieve company goals and improve performance.
• Directly supervise and mentor a team, cultivating leadership skills and fostering a positive work environment.
• Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
• Address employee relation issues in a fair and timely manner, ensuring open communication and a supportive work environment.
• Become certified in all 11 production stations and lead by example on the production line.
• Work alongside the team in each of the following production stations: Initial Inspection, Buffer, CIA, Skive, Repairs, Fill, Builders, Chambers, Final Inspection, and X-ray.
• Be prepared to get your hands dirty and take a proactive role in ensuring smooth operation across all stations.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees in each production station, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet performance standards.

• Proven experience in production management or a related field, with a focus on plant efficiency and team leadership.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to track and adjust key performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build morale and foster teamwork.
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to work on the production floor alongside your team.
• Ability to manage a physically demanding role and work across multiple production stations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
