Job summary

Superior-Trim in Findlay, Ohio, seeks a Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, quality, materials, and HR, to optimize throughput and meet shipping commitments.

Responsibilities include forecasting, budget support, and driving continuous improvement across all plant teams while maintaining safety, compliance, and a strong customer focus.

• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.
• Focus on increasing production, capacity, and flexibility, while minimizing costs, adhering to established quality standards, and consistently meeting shipping requirements.
• Meet financial objectives and goals by forecasting requirements and supporting the annual budget process.
• Drive continuous improvement projects through out all plant functional groups.
• Responsible for assuring customer satisfaction through lead time, on-time delivery, and product quality.
• Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Foster and promote a positive, safe, and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary.
• Direct oversight of plant-based department/functional managers, including but not limited to production, quality, materials, and human resources.
• Work with company directors to roll out and create buy in of company-wide initiatives.
• Responsible for determining facility staffing levels, approving expenditures, preparing and filing internal and external reports.
• Serves as primary customer contact at the plant level.
