Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Manager for the Springfield Pike aggregates operation in Connellsville, PA. You will lead a large-scale plant and underground mine, driving safety, production, quality, and cost performance.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic budgeting, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will foster a culture of safety, manage financials, and coach supervisors to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing large-scale aggregates, quarry, or mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, maintenance, and operational compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, communication, and accountability.
• Experience with budgeting, P&L ownership, cost management, and operational decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills in a dynamic production environment.
• Experience with underground mining operations is preferred but not required.
• Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
