Job summary

Crimson Consulting Group seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead the daily operations of a ready-mix concrete production facility in Columbia, SC. You will focus on efficient production, coordinating personnel and equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring consistent quality.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, independent decision-maker who can balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and who can work extended hours when production demands require.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ready-mix concrete operations.
• Strong understanding of concrete production, batching systems, and quality control.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with plant equipment and maintenance.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as production demands require.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead the daily operations of a ready-mix concrete production facility. This individual will be responsible for maintaining efficient production, coordinating personnel and equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring consistent product quality.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who understands the operational demands of the ready-mix industry, can make sound decisions independently, and is comfortable balancing competing priorities in a production-driven environment.
