Summary:

Oversees Operational Performance in Plant Management, EHS, Production, and Operational Excellence to Maintain High Standards of Manufacturing Operations

Lead and/or Develop Continuous Improvement Projects to Drive Operational Excellence

Leads Operations Team in Developing Plans and Sets Direction to Ensure Company Remains Competitive Through Continuous Improvement, Lean and 5S Initiatives

Develop and implement processes to optimize manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Executes Organizational Change Efforts to Increase Site Production Volume and Sustain Employee Output, Engagement, and Morale

Analyze data and identify areas for improvement to reduce costs and improve productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.

Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to share best practices and promote a culture of quality.

Qualifications

BS Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Related Field.

Proven Work Experience as a Plant Manager (8-10 Years).

Proven Managerial / Leadership Experience

Knowledge of Business and Management Principles in a Manufacturing Environment

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; preferably in mechanical engineering and eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience. Some educational requirements can be offset by experience in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, and/or quality.

Requirements can be waived at company discretion.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Mathematical Skill

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Must be able to read engineering drawing dimensions and geometric dimensions and tolerances.

Computer Skills

Basic PC skills including spreadsheet and word processing.
