Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

The Opportunity

We’re working with a fast-growing, nationally recognized food brand that’s launching a new manufacturing facility. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to join at ground level—leading the facility startup, building the team, and shaping the processes and culture of this operation. This role offers high visibility, strong executive support, and the chance to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Lead

  • Full oversight of a new food manufacturing plant, including startup and day-to-day operations
  • Hiring and building a high-performing team from the ground up
  • Implementation of USDA, SQF, GMP, and HACCP compliance systems
  • Development of SOPs, safety programs, and preventive maintenance protocols
  • Ownership of a $20M+ annual operating budget
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Culinary, Supply Chain, QA, HR, and Finance
  • Expansion of operations from 5 to 9 production lines and from 1 to 2 shifts over the next three years

Who We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years in food manufacturing, 5+ years in operational leadership
  • Experience working in frozen, refrigerated, or cooked product environments
  • Direct involvement in launching a facility or scaling a major production line
  • Strong knowledge of food safety compliance, including USDA and SQF
  • Track record of building and retaining high-performing teams
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial settings with high expectations
  • Base salary: $115,000–$130,000, depending on experience
  • PTO, holidays, and full health benefits (medical, dental, vision)
