Job summary

Rapid Xchange is a family-owned propane cylinder exchange delivery company serving the Southeast US. We seek a full-time Plant Manager with experience in a processing or manufacturing environment who can lead 20–30 staff, ensure safety, and drive production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree or 3 years on-the-job equivalent, strong Microsoft Office skills, and knowledge of regulatory standards. Bi-lingual preferred; onsite leadership role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant processing or manufacturing operations.
• Familiar with Process Safety Management concepts and OSHA/DHS/EPA/PHMSA standards.
• Bi-lingual preferred to support diverse operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20-30 plant line employees plus maintenance.
• Hire, train, coach, and separate staff as needed.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices and training.
• Prioritize refurbishing processes to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain inventory levels to support production needs.
• Audit vendor contracts to manage P&L budget requirements.

Rapid Xchange is a family-owned propane cylinder exchange delivery company that services all sort of commercial and industrial businesses throughout the Southeast US and we are constantly GROWING!

We are seeking a full-time, experienced, and career minded Plant Manager with experience in a plant processing or manufacturing environment. Our ideal candidate is a working manager who is highly motivated, a self-starter, and is committed to safety and leading their team in a positive manner.

Core Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 20-30 plant line employees including maintenance personnel in day-to-day operations.
• Hiring, training, coaching, and separation of staff as necessary.
• Promote and account for safe work practices and training.
• Prioritize and multi-task refurbishing processes each day to meet production levels.
• Maintain inventory levels to meet production needs.
• Audit vendor contracts to maintain P&L budget requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies for on-site inspections.
• Step into function-specific roles as necessary to continue production.
• Collaborate with other members of the leadership team across different departments.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• College degree in manufacturing or operations or 3 years on the job experience as equivalent.
• Bi-lingual preferred
• Experience in the propane, natural gas, or refined fuels industry is preferred but not required.
• Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DHS, EPA and PHMSA standards.
• In-depth experience with Process Safety Management.
