We are conducting a confidential search for a Plant Manager with a client company of ours that is a global supplier of industrial components to the automotive, commercial vehicle, and off-road vehicle markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Battle Creek, MI.

This Sr.-level position will partner with the leadership team in translating business strategy into action that drives business results for this key location.

Responsibilities

1. Participate as lead staff member responsible for operation and performance of entire operation
2. Lead multi-disciplined plant team in meeting monthly forecasts and appropriate business metric
3. Develop strategic manufacturing direction and planning for 1-3 year planning horizon
4. Direct preparation of operational budgets and coordinates capital plans, appropriation requests, and project follow up
5. Accountable for leading manufacturing, environment, health & safety, engineering, quality, human resources, and finance to achieve business objectives
6. Manage the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing process
7. Analyze and implement process flow, inventory and velocity improvements
