Alvarez & Marsal is a leading independent global professional services firm, specializing in providing turnaround management, performance improvement and corporate advisory services, is seeking to expand its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) team. With more than 10,000 professionals across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, our firm excels in problem solving and value creation.

A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice focuses on serving upper middle market and large cap private equity firms who have engaged A&M to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking individuals that can lead and deliver large, complex client engagements, working closely with PE leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for their portfolio companies. Managers frequently help lead the following types of engagements:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of a target’s manufacturing and distribution operations
• Evaluate the maintainability and operability of production facilities
• Review current and historical data to understand efficiency & capacity
• Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees and customers
• Identify potential cost improvement opportunities
• Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes
• Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and manage the team.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 plus years of professional industry experience, with a minimum of 4 years specializing in manufacturing and/or distribution functions
• Deep functional expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Supply Chain Operations
• Manufacturing Operations
• Lean, Six Sigma, TOC and Value Engineering
• Demonstrated track record working with C-suite executives
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills
• Previous strategy and change management experience.

The salary range is $125,000 - $190,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
