Job summary

Technimark LLC in Asheboro, NC is seeking a manufacturing professional with 5 years of experience in injection molding. A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

You will help manage safety, quality, and production operations across the plant, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The role emphasizes strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to lead teams to meet customer requirements and yield targets

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment and meet safety targets.
  • Review accidents and incidents; complete RC/CA.
  • Ensure STOP observations are completed and hazards reduced.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Review yield reports and correct variances.
  • Conduct and review job reviews; manage labor.
  • Review corrective actions and monitor performance.
  • Understand product and quality specifications of active products.
  • Ensure ISO, QS, UL, NSF, policies are followed and maintained.
  • Set plant goals and monitor performance metrics.
  • Develop plans to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
  • Define and assign duties to direct reports; review evaluations.
  • Communicate goals, schedule and status to employees.
  • Audit and correct manufacturing cycle times; report issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities; track financial results.
  • Ensure proper use of work forms and preventative maintenance.
  • Participate in HACCP and Food Security teams when defined.

Job description

High school diploma or GED required with Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 5 years’ experience in Injection Molding. General knowledge of Injection Molding and manufacturing operations. Good communication and Interpersonal Skills. Basic Computer experience.

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, meeting or exceeding safety performance targets.
  • Thoroughly review and investigate all accidents, including completion of RC/CA.
  • Require STOP observations be completed by all direct reports as required, review all STOP information and work to reduce/eliminate hazards and improve safety incident rates.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Review yield report and correct necessary variances.
  • Ensure Job Reviews are conducted.
  • Review and approve labor management.
  • Review corrective actions.
  • Understand all product and quality specification of active products.
  • Ensure company systems (ISO, QS, UL, NSF, policies) are in place, followed, & properly maintained.
  • Establish and monitor plant performance by creating goals and reviewing tracking metrics.
  • Develop and communicate plans to reduce scrap, improve efficiencies and improve utilization.
  • Ensure duties are defined, communicated and met by direct reports.
  • Review and approve all performance evaluations.
  • Ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees by upholding policies and procedures.
  • Review machine capacity, production schedule and work order assignments.
  • Facilitate walk around meetings to discuss yield report, labor, material, and equipment and documentation requirements.
  • Assign actions items and follow-up on completion and hold people accountable.
  • Communicate to employees the goals, schedule and status of the facility.
  • Audit & correct manufacturing cycle times and report issues.
  • Responsible for leading & participating in continuous improvement activities & track financial results.
  • Responsible for monitoring & requiring proper usage of work forms & thorough completion of all preventative maintenance through-out the plant.
  • HACCP Team Member if name defined on HACCP Plan(s)
  • Food Security Team Member if name defined in Food Defense Plan
