Job Details

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of the plant operations, ensuring that production schedules are met within quality and cost objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, enhance quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to HACCP and other food safety regulations, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
• Oversee the production of a variety of baked goods, including but not limited to croissants and other dough-based products.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, promoting a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to address production challenges and optimize processes.
• Manage budget and production metrics, implementing strategies to optimize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Foster a culture of safety, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to and all employees are adequately trained on safety procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing plant, preferably in the food industry.
• Proven experience in the production of baked goods, particularly croissants and other dough-based products.
• Solid understanding of food processing and HACCP principles.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
• Proficiency in budget management and production metrics.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
