The role requires welding/fabrication experience, strong troubleshooting ability, and teamwork with supervisors and mechanics. A valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude for industrial plant machinery and systems.
• Capable of identifying equipment problems and assisting with repairs.
• Experience with welding, torch cutting, grinding, and metal fabrication.
• Comfortable operating various types of industrial/plant equipment.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and hazard awareness.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well with supervisors and team.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on asphalt plant equipment.
• Inspect and repair components such as conveyors, screens, wear parts, pumps, and other parts.
• Operate plant machinery to test equipment after maintenance or repairs.
• Weld, cut, grind and fabricate parts to support plant operations.
• Follow safety policies, document activities, and maintain an organized workspace.
• Communicate equipment concerns and maintenance needs to supervisors and mechanics.
