American Concrete Products Co. is seeking a skilled maintenance mechanic to join our team at our Dallas facility.

The role focuses on maintaining and repairing forms, machinery, equipment, and facilities to maximize productivity and uptime. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of plant maintenance experience, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with diesel engines, welding, and fabrication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, mechanic and/or industrial maintenance in a plant environment.
• Experience reading blueprints preferred.
• SMAW and MIG welding experience a plus; fabrication experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist Maintenance team with troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, including mixers, batch plants, hydraulic systems, and motors.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as tightening bolts, changing filters, lubricating equipment, and replacing worn parts.
• Support scheduled preventative maintenance activities and document work performed.
• Help maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and shop organization.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other plant equipment as trained.
• Assist with building maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs.
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage.
• Work on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
• Clean work areas, remove debris, and help ensure the maintenance shop and plant remain safe and organized.
