Job summary

EarthFresh is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our US facilities team. You will execute preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment, and support continuous production in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, working safely, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with overtime as needed. A background in industrial maintenance or automotive mechanics and knowledge of conveyors, PLCs, and welding is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or automotive mechanics, ideally in food industry.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiar with conveyors, PLCs, welding, and packaging machinery.
• Knowledge of OH&S regulations and safe work practices.
• Proficient with Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance on equipment, buildings, and machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Perform lubrication, cleaning, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Operate welding equipment and power tools as needed.
• Maintain safe working practices and report safety risks.
• Support general building upkeep and respond to maintenance requests.
• Adhere to company policies and health & safety regulations.
