Job summary

Sunrock is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment across locations in North Carolina. You will perform welding, mechanical repairs, and piping work while adhering to safety standards and communicating issues to the supervisor.

The role requires flexibility to cover day, evening, and overnight shifts with possible overtime and travel between sites. 2 years of relevant maintenance experience and welding ability are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in equipment, plant, or industrial maintenance.
• Welding experience preferred, with TIG/MIG/Stick skills advantageous.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; basic math.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems; troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Repair and maintain piping systems and mechanical equipment.
• Disassemble and install parts; perform welding and fabrication.
• Utilize hand tools and job-specific equipment safely per policy.
• Support day, evening, and overnight shifts; overtime may be required.
