Job summary

Sunrock is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for PM shifts to diagnose, repair, maintain, and support daily plant maintenance across multiple locations in North Carolina. The role requires flexibility for day, evening, and overnight shifts, with overtime and weekends as needed, and potential travel between sites.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, repair components, weld as needed, and communicate issues to the Plant Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant plant or industrial maintenance experience.
• Welding experience (TIG/MIG/Stick) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must have valid NC driver license.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and operate machinery as required.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and communicate recommendations.
• Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and mechanical equipment.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support site cleanup.
