Job summary

J.M. Huber Corporation seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to help install, maintain, and repair plant equipment, utilities, buildings, and related structures at our Shuqualak, MS site. You will operate and maintain shop tools, welding equipment, and portable power tools while supporting safety and reliability.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, the ability to work in a team, and adherence to CMMS procedures, daily logs, and PM schedules to keep the plant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of related experience; vocational training may substitute.
• Industrial maintenance testing required for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment throughout the plant.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) to plant mechanical equipment as specified.
• Test repaired or newly installed equipment and replace guards/floor grates as needed.
• Follow CMMS procedures to report follow-up work and PM findings.
• Maintain daily work logs and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
