Job summary

JM Huber Corporation's Huber Engineered Woods division seeks a skilled maintenance technician to maintain and repair plant mobile equipment, including forklifts and heavy machinery. You will perform welding, cutting, engine repairs, hydraulic systems work, and preventative maintenance while keeping records up to date.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 5 years' experience, good mechanical aptitude, training and experience to perform job duties, ability to work as a team, and industrial maintenance training required.
• Must observe company policies and EH&S practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs plant mobile equipment including forklifts, automobiles, pickup trucks, dump truck, front-end loaders, and woodyard equipment.
• Welding, Cutting, and Fabrication; Troubleshooting and repairing gasoline, propane, and diesel engines.
• Repairing hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves, cylinders; inspect and repair transmission and drive train, electrical system, brakes, suspension.
• Lifting and rigging with cranes, chainfalls, jacks, forklifts; perform preventative maintenance and keep records up to date.
• Requisition parts through Maintenance Supervisor; assist in maintenance during outages; perform other duties as assigned.
