Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Fruitland, ID. The position operates on a day shift from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm with a pay rate of $17.39 per hour.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and work with various tools in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include handling lockout/tagout, lifting 50 lb regularly and up to 200 lb occasionally, and maintaining GMP-compliant, safe work areas while coordinating with supervisors and,

Qualifications

• Excellent technical skills and safe tool handling.
• Mechanical ability to work with a range of equipment.
• Ability to make decisions with safety as a priority.
• Willingness to travel across plant areas as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and up to 200 lbs occasionally.
• Work in wet and hot/cold environments and follow GMP practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a daily basis.
• Fill out work orders to track completed tasks.
• Respond to radio calls to troubleshoot machinery failures.
• Coordinate with supervisor for outside contractor needs.
• Fabricate equipment as needed and take boiler/refrigeration readings.
• Repair hydraulics, belts, and pneumatic systems safely.
• Apply lockout/tagout per policy and use tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary workplace and report contamination risks.
