Athens in Irwindale is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain motors, conveyors, and production machinery. You will diagnose components, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with welding tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues, dismantling devices for access, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies. A valid Class C license and own tools are required, with local plant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance/repair experience in a production environment.
• Fabrication knowledge for welding and cutting processes.

The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring testing instruments. Diagnoses machinery components and determines if and when adjustments or repairs are required. Increasing level of responsibility per experience.
