Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage equipment readiness and facility maintenance across our plant operations. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and documentation to ensure reliable production.

The role requires hands-on skills in welding, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, fabrication, and electrical work, supported by a high school diploma and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication and electrical operations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to walk, lift 50 lb+, and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical and operational problems on facility equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with outside contractors, vendors, and consultants for maintenance needs.
• Monitor production and process equipment through routine inspections.
• Assist in creating and maintaining preventative maintenance programs and inventory.
• Maintain documentation and records for production equipment and tool usage.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and safe; perform fabrication and welding duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
