Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Maintenance Technician in White Pine, TN to ensure equipment readiness for all plant operations and to maintain building facilities. You will oversee repair, upkeep, and maintenance of equipment and supervise maintenance processes to minimize downtime.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ manufacturing maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and hands-on knowledge of welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, reading blueprints, and electrical

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance-related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience: welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, reading blueprints, electrical operations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts analysis of mechanical and operational problems on facility equipment; plans and implements corrective action.
• Represents the company with outside contractors, vendors, and consultants for maintenance of the facility.
• Oversee continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation through routine inspections.
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing preventative maintenance programs; inspect plant equipment and inventory for replenishing parts.
• Maintain documentation and machine history for production equipment, records of tool and equipment use; arrange replacements as needed.
• Maintain organization of Maintenance Repair Area and other repair work areas.
• Fabrication, welding, design, and other duties to ensure smooth operations.
