Job summary

Clayton Homes in Athens, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for equipment readiness and maintenance across plant operations and facilities. You will inspect, repair, and maintain production equipment and oversee preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing maintenance, hands-on welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication and electrical work, plus the ability to lift 50 lb and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing maintenance field.
• Experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication and electrical operations.
• Ability to walk, climb and lift 50 lb; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility equipment and production lines.
• Inspect machinery, implement preventative maintenance and create records.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Support welding, fabrication and other maintenance tasks as assigned.
